How bright it is at night? Do the led lights light up the entire room or is it comparable to the old school red alarm clock light? i like to sleep with it as dark as possible, so I don't want a clock acting as a nightlight. null

Guess what? It's a smart speaker. Just say "Hey Google, turn off display" or if it's off, "Hey Google, turn on display". Also, you can tell it to adjust the brightness. You can also manually adjust using the "- and O" or the "+ and O". Does anyone ever look at setup guides or owners manuals?

It does not light up the whole room, but is still well visible, and it has two settings and ours in on the brightest, but still not too illuminating. Awesome voice controlled alarms.

I like it dark too. If you have any other ambient light (switch light on power strip, microwave display light spilling from kitchen, alarm panel light, ect) you won't notice this. If you about the avoid ambient lights then this will seem like a night light. I turned mine too the wall. I'm thinking of trying electrical tape.
