Can you use it at all without wifi null

This device does have Bluetooth capability which would lead me to believe that you could use it without the internet for playing music. However, the main purpose of this product is to use the Google Assistant which does require wifi for setup and continued use. If you just want something to play your music on over a Bluetooth connection, I have some recommendations tied to this answer.
