No harm if you don't intend to use the battery function much, but should still work fine for a few hours when and if you do decide to take it to another room on battery power. Theoretically the long term battery function might suffer, but if you don't plan to use it anyway, I don't see any downsides. The clock dims nicely too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It would be useless if we had to run it on "battery' constantly. I do have my always plugged in. I have to believe they built in charging control to 'Maintain' when plugged in.
