The noise cancelling feature is not available when using the headphone jack. The noise cancelling feature is only available when using Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They do not power on at all when plugged in, so to use ANC they need to be charged but not plugged into power. That said, they have significant sound isolation without ANC turned on, and they play sound just fine while powered off but connected via 3.5 mm cable. They have pretty good battery life. I don't know how long they can go on battery, but it's longer than however long your children should be doing school related activities.
