Will this work for my Canon Rebel T6? null

No, the Canon T6 is lighter than the T6i, for 2 reasons as far as I know at this moment. The mirror is 40% smaller so the lenses don’t necessarily react to the actual length. The T6 also doesn’t have Infrared mode or IR Mode. Which is what this product needs for you to use the Wireless Shutter Remote. I learned the hard way, but I don’t intend to get rid of it as I do plan on getting another camera that does have IR mode to take some looooong exposures. Hope this helps!
