Correct, its not a scam. You can also sign up for a $4.95, or $2.95 monthly depending how many pages you need to print a month. HP, automatically ships the cartridges' when it starts running low. Also, your not charged until you install the new cartridges.

BUT, at $9,99/month you have plenty of pages to print...just a warning! Best to KNOW your limit AND how to keep track of usage. apparently HP won't do this for you...Just for them to send out the new ink.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. With the 9.99 program you can print 300 pages per month without any extra charges. If you go over, it does cost more. However, unused pages carry over from month to month. Shipping is free as well. You do have to be connected to the internet for the printer to "order" more ink, but it connected flawlessly to my wireless network.
