I just made 5 lbs mashed potatoes in my 10 quart instant pot yesterday using a recipe from the food network. I simply removed the skin from my potatoes, stacked them on the trivet, added water to the bottom, pressure cooked, released the pressure, mashed the potatoes in a bowl, added butter, milk, salt, pepper and I was done! Delish! And NO potato dicing! Super fast, super easy! Kept them warm in a crock pot as I made the Thanksgiving turkey breast in the instant pot.

Not sure on how many pounds but with cubing the potatoes prior to pressure cooking I'm going to guess you could easily cook 5 lb of potatoes. Even if the amount is smaller at 3 to 4 minutes it wouldn't take long at all to cook additional.
