A:AnswerNot supposed to wash door in water. Just wipe woth damp cloth. I doubt the glass will come off. Maybe you can get in touch with instant and get a new door.
A:AnswerI actually read that you should leave it on at 400 for about a half hour before cooking anything in it to avoid the odor. That's what we did and haven't noticed an odor. Haven't noticed the bottom getting to hot for the counter but I moved mine away from the wall when using. That does get pretty hot.
