• This probably won't work since it's the same socket but it uses a different chipset. Your motherboard is B250 and an i7 9700K uses Z390.

• I doubt it. Intel 8th and 9th gen cpu aren't compatible with 100 and 200 series chipset. I wouldn't take the chance. So when I upgraded from 7th to 8th gen I just changed mobo too.
