“will you need to add a cooler on top of the processor or can you just leave it cooler free, and if so do i need to go out and buy a cooler an or does it come with one”

Unless you want to fry your new CPU I suggest you get a cooler. It does not come with a cooler.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My purchase was the CPU only. Heat sink/ fan not included. I would not recommend installing any CPU without some type of cooling just for the sake of performance and product lifespan. This model (K) allows overclocking which usually generates additional cooling requirements. Do a little research and maybe you could also see the "customers also bought this" to see what type of cooling others used.
