• No it does not. I'm just using mine for my keyboard and mouse as well. Works wonderfully too.

• That is precisely how I use it. I switch HDMI locally at the monitor.. It works great for me!

• To answer your simple rhetorical question, yes this would work with only a single mouse and keyboard for both computers. Sounds like you need Google in your quest. Before asking... Good luck

• First, thank you for choosing IOGEAR . We would need to know the model of the KVM however most of the VGA KVM's do not need the VGA connection to be connected. You should be able to use and share a keyboard and mouse between your computers. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
