• It should — I have it connected to a Joey, which is a Dish Network cable box. Once the connection made I just use my Dish remote and watch TV as I always did.

• Thank you for choosing IOGEAR. Yes the GWHD3DKIT can be used with a cable box. Once connected you can connect the IR blast cable to the transmitter of the wireless kit and back to your cable box. This will allow you to use the cable remote for the cable box pointed at the receiver connected to the TV at the remote location. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.
