• Thank you for choosing IOGEAR. The GW3DHDKIT is a wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. Your cable box is connected to the transmitter of this kit. The transmitter will send a signal to the receiver at a remote location. The Receiver is connected to the TV with an HDMI cable. Once again, thank you for choosing IOGEAR.

• This will NOT connect your Cable box to the TV. I found this out the hard way. The other answer is deceiving, the author states the Model number of another model that does this so he is technically correct. If you have the WGSSKIT then it will NOT connect cable boxes to your TV. This was a pointless buy.
