“Is there any wires that is attach that need to run from your phone to the cassette tap”

• From what I've read the only connection is the Micro USB charging port. The microphone is internal and hangs out for making voice calls from your BT equipped phone

• Nope! The whole thing is wireless, it does have a little mic that sticks out of the cassette player in order to make phone calls but other than that it's completely wireless.
