• Battery pack is internal and is rechargeable with the power cable. It's best to leave the D Cell battery compartment empty unless you need to run the radio off batteries due to no power and the internal battery is drained. To run it off regular D Cell Batteries just toss 6 in and flip the power switch on the back of the radio to AC Off I believe.

• The battery panel is located on the bottom of the back of the product.
