• yes it will The only problem I encountered was that the record button on my unit didn't always engage, cutting off several seconds of the beginning of the fist song. It seems to be waiting for a signal before it will start to record. Make sure the light below the record button turns purple.this lets you know that the recording has started.

• yes you can ,however, be aware that the record button on the side of the unit can be very finicky. It seems to sometimes engage and somrtimes not. The unit seems to start recording only when it detects a signal resulting in cutting off several seconds of the first song. If the light below the record button doesn't turn purple ,then you have to start over making the whole process frustrating. This has been my experience ! Hope yours is better.
