Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will record from tape to usb or sd card. Be aware that the quality will vary depend on the quality of your tapes. In addition, I would recommend winding and then rewinding your tapes since over time they tend to get stuck and can possibly jam inside the machine. Finally I would get a copy of Audacity or Roxio easy cd creator. Both will allow you to clean up your recordings by eliminating hiss (the machine doesn't have dolby Noise reduction)and/or boost frequencies as needed. This assumes you'll be editing your final usb or sd device on a computer. Good luck !!
