It will go around rugs but I just move my rugs out of the way so the whole floor gets cleaned
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I will move around the rug, though it does mess with it's pattern a little, but doesn't stop it from working.

Depending on thickness of mats Brava Jet will either treat such mats/throweres as an obstacle and work around them or try to climb on and get stuck. Just as one would when mopping manually, these mats should be picked up before letting the machine run. Depending on how open your home is, Brava will view any transition from one room to another not delineated by thresholds or "kddie fences" as part of a single floor, and try to mop it all. This could be problematic if you have area rugs or wall-to-wall in adjacent spaces.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe you’re better off picking up the rugs if they’re smaller ...just like you would if you were going to mop the floors yourself. But at the same time I believe it can sense obstruction so it might just work it’s way around the rugs. We pull everything up before we use it, especially smaller rugs. Bigger rugs you can fold the sides in so you can get clean edges.
