What is the virtual wall? null

The virtual wall is basically a sensor that you can put wherever you like which will stop the Roomba from going any further than where you place that sensor itself.

it is an invisible line projected by the accessory box that comes with the machine, and the line, which is about 8 ft long,which when put across staircase or any other place,prevent s machine from falling down on to a lower level ,as when the machine reaches it ,it will not cross the line and bounce back.

Hello Sandie, The virtual wall is used to keep the Roomba in or out of a specific room or area. You can also use it in a “halo” mode to keep the robot away from a pet’s eating area.
