Very well. My floor plan is pretty open, not as large as yours, but the GPS mapping function in this model prevents the robot from missing anywhere. Since your floor plan is so large, it might need to recharge during the job, but will pick up right where it left off thanks to the mapping function.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have experience with a large open floor plan, but I can tell you it won't be able to do it all on one charge. But if you don't manually stop a cleaning, it will go back to the dock and charge, and then when it's charged, it will automatically go right back to where it left off and start up again. I haven't experienced it, but with what I have seen, I would bet that it would do great. The only problem is the dust bin might fill up before it's done cleaning that much. If that's an issue, you might want to look into the i7 model, because it automatically empties the dust bin into its dock when it's full.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We have a large open area, living room and kitchen, it cleans all of this. Unless you program it to not clean the bathroom floor it will clean this too. If the Roomba can't finish on one charge it will go back to the docking station and recharge

This robot uses visual navigation, which mean it can recharge and resume as needed. So if Roomba runs low on battery before your large floor plan is clean, it'll return to its home base, recharge itself and pick up where it left off to complete the mission.
