It doesn’t damage baseboards. It gently taps on walls and baseboards and then moves on. I’m very pleased with my Roomba.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is a completely understandable concern! The Roomba e5 would have a feature called a light touch bumper. What this means is that the Roomba would use the camera on top and other sensors to detect objects. When the Roomba determines that it is approaching an obstacle or object. The sensors would slow the Roomba down and have the bumper gently press against the object. Causing the Roomba to pick a new navigation path.
