It gets up and down area rugs without a problem in my home. The cleaning power is a bit lacking on rugs though. I wouldn’t expect too much if you’re looking to vacuum a whole room filled with carpet. We have hardwood throughout the house with some area rugs and it’s works awesome on the hardwood but I’m assuming it’s not really deep cleaning the rugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the i7 model and it has no problem to change to different floor types. I had a previous model and it also was excellent at moving from hardwood to carpeting. The i7 has the advantage of emptying itself. I have pets so I occasionally clean the machine following along with utube videos. I couldn’t live without my Roomba! I use it almost every day. I also have the Brava and it is excellent too.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have hardwood floors with several small throw rugs and some large handwoven area rugs and it handles them well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We have hardwood floors with several throw rugs and room dividing thresholds. The i7 has shown no issues and cleans nicely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO PROBLEM with area rugs except if the area rugs have fringe on edges. It will climb up and go down very well. All of our rooms have wood floors or carpets or area rugs. I don't see why it would be a problem with concrete floor but don't know if would hurt the stain finish.
