As long as the A12 has a USB-C port and supports display output through that port, then it should. You don’t need a smart TV to use this cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, the Galaxy A12 does not support DisplayPort over USB type-C. Supports video out when connecting via HDMI Adapter/Video Cable. The JUA165C is another option with phones that don't support DP Alt Mode. However, it will not display 4K, only 1080p resolution.
