They are IP55 rated and the 65t sport are IP56 rated. The first number is the solids protection rating and the second number is the water protection rating. So with these and the sport they are dust rated which means solids are not entirely prevented but no solid shall be able to enter in sufficient quantity to make it interfere with satisfactory operation. The regular 65t are rated for water jets 6.3mm from any direction and have no harmful effects. The sport are rated for powerful water jets 12.5mm from any direction and have no harmful effects.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Elite are IP55 rated and the Active or IP56 rating so just a little better for water resistance. The active also have motion tracking for workouts. Both offer a 2 year warranty for dust and water if you register them via the app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used the ear buds while working out and I sweat quite a bit and they held up great; also used them while walking in rain. I do not know if I would suggest dropping them in water but they held up to sweat and rain very well.

It's supposed to be water-proof and designed to stay in the ear better. They said the regular model worked pretty well for light workouts, but I plan to wait and spend the extra $20.
