• I can't say for the tablet specifically, but they do allow two Bluetooth profiles to be setup at the same time. I have my work and personal phones connected and can take calls from either.

• They can be paired to two devices at once, but one incoming sound will pause and play INSTEAD not over another. So if you are watching a movie on your tablet, and you get a text message on your phone. The movie will pause for a second and you'll hear the notification sound from your phone.
