• Yes you can use either one independently. To get them to both work, you might have to put both back in case after using just one. This seems to re-establish both.

• Hello BigG - The right earbud of the Jabra Elite 65t can be used independently. The left earbud cannot be used independently since it does not have its own Bluetooth connection with the phone.
