“Hello, I just bought these today. I'm trying to figure how to forward music. The handout in the box says to hold the left ear bud side down. When I do that it pauses the song. Can anyone explain to me how this works?”

You have to hold it down until you hear a beep sound that acknowledges it.

Pausing music is done by pressing and holding the Multifunction button on the right side for 1 second, so be sure you are pressing the left earbud buttons.
