“I can't get them to work with my Google assistant. Trying to get help from Google has never happened for me. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have an LG G7 thin Q phone.”

Try restarting the buds. and reinstalling the App. Have the app ready before pairing. With google phone you probably would have to allow some permission to make these work.

Change the echo to Google Assistant from the app that accompanies it.
