I have not tried the jaybird vista earbuds, but I can tell you safely to go for these. These are amazing pair of earbuds. Multiple device connectivity is a big plus. Build quality is excellent. Calls are clear. Music sounds great. They pack a punch. Bluetooth connectivity is awesome and the app offers you many options to customize your experience. Definitely worth your money.

I can't speak about a quality comparison because I have never used the Jaybird Vista but I can tell you I am very satisfied with the Jabra Elite so far (I have been using for about 2 weeks). I bike everyday and my experience is as such: -The passive hear through works well enough that I cant hear wind passing my ears on my ride - the music is completely unobstructed -I sweat profusely and they still work great and have never been damaged as a result -They stay in place very well and don't get knocked out even when I accidentally hit them -Sound quality is very good - I am not an expert in this but they seem to get pretty loud, the sound seems clear, and the bass is pretty good -I answered a phone call once while on a ride because its super easy, just push the right bud once to answer a call
