These will have a newer tech than the Bose. Bluetooth 5.0, An App to adjust sound profiles and equalizer. Longer battery life: 36 hrs vs. 20 for the Bose. The Elite 85H's have Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation that will adjust to your environment. These should be at the very least on par, if not a complete improvement over the the Bose and Top-End Sony's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tried at CES. More comparable to the top end Sony with the added convience of switching environmental ANC profiles automatically. Actual sound quality up there with the newest Sony. Planning to get a pair as soon as there's a better deal. The ANC quality was impressive given it erased the din of the CES show floor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Micki, I have the Bose QC 35 Headphones and just received the Jabra Elite 85h Headphones for review. In my opinion the Jabra 85h has the superior Noise Cancelling tech. Jabra uses AI (artificial Intelligence) in its Active Noise Cancelling profiles. It basically analyzes the noise backgrounds you are currently in, and changes your ANC to match your audio environment. I was out at my pool listening to Pandora when my neighbor started to trim his hedges. My Jabra headphones changed my listening environment within ten seconds so I did NOT hear his noisy clippers. I love this tech. Additionally, the Bose QC 35 should not be in an outside environment, especially a moist one (I live in North Florida - Hot & Humid). Jabra 85h is rainproof and dustproof, and I have no problem taking these headphones outside. In my opinion the Jabra Sound App offers more features and settings then Bose. However, Bose has the superior sound over BT. When I connected a 3.5mm jack from my amp-receiver to each headphone set I could not tell any noticeable difference. Both headphones were able to be manipulated by my amp's EQ and responded accordingly. Bose has the better (HRAs) High Resolution Audio codecs to transmit CD quality music over BT. But, Bose is a lot more expensive too. For the price point, in my opinion, Jabra Elite 85h is less expensive, and features better AI and ANC technology. Both are outstanding over-the-ear earphones. Hope my opinions help you. . . . . . .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Compared to Bose, these are superior in sound clarity and functionality. One thing to add is that the sound quality with the microphone noise cancellation is enterprise grade. I'm in a noisy office and the person on the other end of the call can't hear the other people barely at all if ever while I'm talking. I have had a bose on ear headset for years and they are great, but the Jabra headset is much better in my opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The noise canceling isn't quite as good as the ANC in the Bose or Sony products, but in every other way, the Jabras are superior. And don't get me started about Bose's customer service. It's awful. If you have a problem with a Bose product that you can't solve, you might as well return it, because Bose does everything within their power to avoid having to deal with their customers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Superior by all mean in terms of call/microphone quality, these isolate your voice from your surroundings and come in clear on the other side (this is Jabra's sp[ecialty and they lead this field in both wired and wireless headsets). In terms of music listening NOTHING is as accurate and neutral as Bose sound, and Bose is the daddy of ANC. Don't let Sony fanboys tell you sony is better, there's a reason why the comments are "They sound like the bose" and not "they sound like sony's." Depends what you like and what you're looking for if you just want the sound quality and like neutral sounding headphones and head NOTHING when on ANC go Bose. If call quality is a must and priority like it is for me or you prefer warm sound, then these (or the sennheisers if you like the warm tones" these still have a better call audio).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got these, have the bose 700, QCII, and the sony's M3, Sony sound is better, bose are EXCELLENT for calls in noisy enviroments, cancels out the noise of say a starbucks, where the caller hears your voice clearly , the sony picks up ALL the chatter. The Jabras have good sound will do starbucks test soon but i imagine with six microphones they should do the same as bose (Hopefully) As a non headphone friend of mine put it, these are all good, will vary with personal taste, but its like the difference between dating Jessica Beal or Jessica Alba, do you think you'll really be disappointed with either? Probably not! Cheers
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better low end, worse on treble. ANC is not as strong. But, overall hardware is miles ahead of Bose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better and lower price point but the bass is slightly lacking but the ANC and ability to use any of the assistants out there is great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One cool feature these have over others is always listening Alexa, believe thus also Google Assistant/Siri but not positive.
