Hi Erik- All technology choices in the Jabra Elite 85t have been made with the goal of delivering a superb audio experience in an uncompromisingly small form factor, without sacrificing earbud connectivity. While the feature to use either EarBud independently was feasible on this technology platform, we could not guarantee a consistent user experience across devices and operating systems, and therefore decided that it was in our user’s best interest that we remove the feature.
