• You can use just one. The right earbuds battery lasts a little longer than the left

• If you would like to use one earbud, it has to be the right one. You cannot use the left earbud alone.

• Hi babs - The right earbud of the Elite Active 65t can be used independently because it connects to your phone via Bluetooth. The left connects to the right through a different radio technology, so the left cannot be used alone.

• If you choose to use only one it has to be the right earbud. The left will not work on its own if the right ear is in the charging case. They are not independent of each other, the right ear is the master.
