• No. The case and the buds are both rubber. It feels like good quality stuff and does not disintegrate at all. Nice feel to it.

• It’s a hard case with a dark rubber feeling finish. I wouldn’t consider it a paint.

• It’s a junky feeling piece of molded plastic. No paint. Barely closes and when it does very hard to open. Flimsy.
