I was too as my son did a quick setup for me. He had a pair that worked fine. Mine seemed to have trouble being loud enough to hear over the quiet noises around me. Turned out as I read the instructions he forgot to tell me one. How to turn the sound up or down lol. they do have a service to help with setups and questions. I just didn't call cause I am not always tech savvy and thought my Son (who is tech savvy) had covered it all as he had checked them out several times. I was about to through em away. Glad I did not!

Best Buy may require you to contact your daughter first since she was the one who originally purchased the unit for you. You may be required to return the item to your daughter so that she will be able to return the item to Best Buy for a replacement or refund to the buyer. Check with Best Buy’s store policy for more information.
