“Is this headset turned on and ready to use whenever I get a random call on my laptop's softphone, or will it shut off making it inconvenient to reconnect/power on when I receive an incoming call? I'm looking for a headset that will always be on.”

Hello MJ - When using the Jabra Evolve 65, if a call comes in, you can simply press the Answer/End button and the call will pick up in the headset, as long as the headset switch is in the ON position.
