You will need to know the power rating for your refrigerator. Many refrigerators run at about 100watts - but this can vary. So, with the Jackery 240 v2, it can hold about 256Whrs of power. Yes, it can power your refrigerator but likely for only about 2.25hrs assuming it has a power rating of 100watts. Plus, there are usually startup spikes with electrical devices that can be pretty high compared to the running wattage. If you want to run a frig with this device, I would strongly consider a larger device. Something like the 1000 v2 or the 2000 v2. But still, even the 1000 v2 would only last about 10hrs.

The Jackery Explorer 290, while a versatile power solution, has a battery capacity of 290Wh and an output power of 200W. Given that standard home refrigerators usually operate within a power consumption range of 300 to 800 watts, the Explorer 290 may NOT be sufficient to power your refrigerator, as it exceeds the unit's output capacity. For scenarios where you need to run a refrigerator off-grid or during a power outage, we recommend considering a product with a higher capacity, such as the Jackery Explorer 1000 Plus (approx. 2.1 hours for a 500W full-size refrigerator), 2000 Plus (approx. 3.5 hours for a 500W full-size refrigerator), Solar Generator 1000 v2 (approx. 1.8 hours for a 500W full-size refrigerator), or Solar Generator 2000 v2 (approx. 3.5 hours for a 500W full-size refrigerator). These models offer extended power capabilities that are better suited for appliances with higher power demands. Should you have specific power consumption details for your refrigerator or need personalized advice, our customer service team is here to provide the support you need.
