“Are the speakers facing up towards the top or out towards the front? I want to mount this directly below a tv with only 1/2” space but don’t want the sound to be adversely affected by doing so.”

My sound bar is about 2 inches below my TV my subwoofers about 4 feet from the sound bar on the floor the only thing I recommend is you mount the sound bar because if you turn up the volume the vibrations will move the sound bar and possibly onto the floor. And I am very happy with the JBL sound bar and sub

You mount it facing the same way if it was resting on entertainment center. Speakers are forward facing. Sounds great & bass is amazing.
