A:Answer Hi Tony, thanks for asking. Soundshift only works between a Bluetooth source and a TV. When Soundshift is on and a Bluetooth source is connected and paired with the soundbar, while you're watching a TV, sound comes out from the Soundbar. When you press play on your phone (Bluetooth source) Sound from TV will stop playing and the Music from the phone will take over the soundbar. Once the pause button is pressed on the phone, then the TV sound will come out of the Soundbar again. Basically, they take turns on using the Soundbar.
