• I had the same question when I bought the system and contacted JBL. It is not compatible with their wireless rears but I ended up finding a solution. The insignia rear speaker kit is a stand alone system but works great. You can adjust the delay to match the soundbar with no problem. That’s my current setup and it works great.

• Hi there, you can't connect wireless rear speakers to the JBL Bar 3.1. You can check out out JBL Bar 5.1 instead with it's own wireless surround speaker. https://www.jbl.com/bar-series/JBL+Bar+5.1.html
