“When I connect my phone to the soundbar, my LG tv switches to its internal speakers...this is so frustrating. I have the soundshift turned on the soundbar. Any suggestions to keep the tv from doing this?”

I believe by turning soundshift off should prevent the issue from occurring.

It's normal for your TV to switch back to its internal speakers once you start to play from your phone through Bluetooth with the Soundshift ON on your JBL BAR 3.1 soundbar. This is because your TV has nowhere else to send the audio signal to aside from its own speakers once you switch to playing from your phone. We hope this helps.
