“Try as I may, I can not get my sound bar to work with the HDMI arc with my Insigna tv. If I use the optical cord I hear a white noise in the background. I have Directv. Should I plug the HDMI port in the receiver instead of the tv? I am so frustrated.”

• I have all my HDMI (Apple Tv, Ps4, Nintendo switch) go in to sound bar and then one out to tv. Works great, switches between each when turning on one or the other. When watching antenna for sports or local news, it also goes out to the sound bar. I have a Vizio Tv.
