“I installed my new 5.1 JBL sound bar over the weekend and noticed the top part near the power button stays very hot. This stays hot while plugged in and the power is turned off. Is this normal or should I return it to Best Buy.”

• Yes, the Amplifier within the soundbar generates heat. My 5.1 does the same thing.
