Our JBL Charge 6 features the latest design, which eliminates the need for a flap cover, a change that applies to most of our newest speakers. Its upgraded Type-C port offers multiple functions, including charging, wired connections, and acting as a power bank. We do not have any information about whether future models will include a flap cover.
