Can the clip be removed from the actual speaker? null

No, it doesn't have enough space to remove in my opinion. I guess if you wiggle it enough you may be able to remove it. It just seems like you would break the loop the clip is in. Either way it works great with the clip. Allows you to clip onto your jeans loop and work while enjoying your music.
