Yes, with the proper 5V@1A adapter, you may charge your JBL Clip 3 speaker on DC. Most of the adapter from an Android phone has the same power rating, so if you have one, you can also use it. Let us know if you have other questions using this link: https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html

Using an Android cell phone charger, as soon as I plugged it in, the red LED light came on, and when it went out, I connected the TV's audio cable to it, and watched TV for about an hour, with no loss of sound. Again, I really appreciate the effort you gave me, because it sure worked. Appreciate it a bunch.
