• Our JBL Flip 5 can be charged in a car cigarette lighter port using a car charger with at least 5V/3A output.

• Not that I can tell. It has a USB port that you can power it through. Didn't know cars even had cigarette lighter ports anymore. Besides if it's charged you can just play it without having it powered through a source.
