No, as of this writing, on 11/28/2017, the JBL Link 10 (and I believe it applies to the other two Link speakers) does not have support of the JBL Connect app. Could support come in the future with an update, possibly, but you'll need to ask JBL if it has plans to add the Link speakers to the speakers compatible with the app. Sorry if I come off condescending, but if you look at the supported speakers in the JBL Connect app, the Link speakers are not included. However, I did try to use the app with the Link 10 and the app would not recognize it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The speaker can connect via WiFi. It controls devices that work with Google Home. Phone app necessary for configuration. It also connects via Bluetooth like other Bluetooth speakers and headsets. Per specs, it can link to other JBL speakers. I don't have any others, so I don't know how it works. I suspect this doesn't answer your question, but it's what I know.

Google Assistant is built into the JBL, so you don't have to use another device to ask it questions. If you have Google Assistant on your phone and you are near the JBL speaker and ask, "OK Google, play some jazz music," they both listen and play.
