It's a 97% that you won't hear anything but just the music that you are listening to if it's fully charged you can bet a hundred percent that you won't listen anything outside of your music
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These headphones have great noise canceling. I have yet to try them mowing but as long as they are on the noise canceling should provide a good amount of noise reduction. With music, podcast, radio, etc I am almost for sure you won’t hear the mower at all.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Horrible it lets way too much ambient noise in. So much that I took them back. Over ear headphones in general are not the best for the application (mowing lawns). In ear buds have the ability to not only noise cancel but do physically mute the noise from coming into your ear like earplugs. Best case you would use a noise canceling ear bud and wear proper over ear ‘ear muffs’ that was the noise hazard (high decibel level) is protected from injuring your ear and the noise canceling but cancels out the noise level that is left passing through the ear bud. What you have to understand is that noise canceling uses an inverse of the noise it is trying to cancel and it is not stopping the noise but rather mimicking the opposite. This is a huge danger in loud environments because it has to not only play your content loud enough for you to hear but also blast the inverse noise wave with great strength to cancel the noise. It may feel convenient to use noise canceling in loud environments but if you truly understand how it works then you understand the dangers of it as well. Again use noise canceling ear buds and over ear muffs for hearing protection in truly loud situations.
