How many speaker wires needed for this speaker? null

Just one pair. The other 2 connectors, 1 at the bottom and 1 at the top, are just pass thru. If you add a top firing/surround speaker on top of this one, you can run the cable to the bottom and then come out the top and into that speaker. Just a cosmetic thing to help hide that short speaker wire from the bottom to the top.
