Thanks for your question. Our JBL Tune 235NC TWS has Ambient Aware and TalkThru technology, similar to the transparency mode. The Ambient Aware lets you hear more from your surroundings without pausing your music, while TalkThru lets you chat with those around you without removing your headphones.

You can toggle between three modes, ambient aware, noise cancelling, or talk-thru. So yes.
